Join the community at the 18th Annual OBX Watermelon Festival on Thursday, August 1, 2024. The Outer Banks Toys is proud to lend its support to the Outer Banks Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Coalition and invites everyone to participate in this exciting summer event.

Festival Activities

Celebrating the peak of summer, OBX Watermelon Festival will take place at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing in Nags Head between 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Featuring exciting watermelon-themed activities, the festival is not just about having fun but also about supporting a valuable cause. Guests can take part in fun-filled activities like Watermelon Bowling, or let their creative side shine with Watermelon Windsocks. Food Lion will provide a T-shirt Tie Dye station, and The Lost Colony will facilitate Face Painting. And of course, no one should miss out on the popular Watermelon Eating Contest!

Costs and Prizes

While entry to the festival is free, tickets will be necessary for meals and to take part in games. These tickets do more than just provide you with a good time – they help support a valuable cause. Attendees will have the opportunity to win exciting prizes by participating in various classic contests. So, come join the fun and share in this joyous summertime tradition.
