The Town of Kitty Hawk provides a distinctive and pleasant environment for residents and visitors alike all year. The Town is made up of a bustling settlement that has been present for generations, a newer beach community of residential cottages, and Kitty Hawk Woods, a maritime forest with a diverse plant and animal life.
The Town of Kitty Hawk is also proud to offer a public beach for the benefit of both full-time residents and seasonal tourists. There are numerous public beach access points with parking.
