Outer Banks Welcomes a Record Year for Sea Turtles
Outer Banks, NC – This summer, while sun-seekers strolled the picturesque shores of the Outer Banks, the coastal paradise welcomed some remarkable guests: over 300 sea turtles! That’s right! These gentle creatures came to nest on the beautiful sands of Cape Hatteras National Seashore, and this year turned out to be a big one.
