Corolla is buzzing with holiday excitement! The Corolla Christmas Village at Historic Corolla Village is open every Friday and Saturday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. until December 28. It’s the perfect spot to bring the family and soak in the holiday atmosphere. Don’t miss the magical showing of The Polar Express at the Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education Auditorium on December 13-14 at 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.—tickets will be required for this enchanting experience!
Jumping over to Currituck, prepare for a magical evening at the Winter Wonderland event taking place at the Currituck YMCA on December 6, starting at 5 p.m. Enjoy tasty treats, fun games, and the chance to meet Santa himself! Following that, mark your calendars for the 31st Annual Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting at Currituck Community Park on the same night at 6 p.m., a heartwarming event that kicks off the festive season. And if you think that’s all, think again! There’s also a chance to have Lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Claus on December 7 and brunch with Santa on December 8.
Next up, the charming town of Duck will host its Annual Duck Yuletide Celebration on December 7 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Town Park. Expect live music and a visit from Santa to make your heart sing! For little ones, there’s storytime and selfies with Santa planned at The Cottage Shop on December 14 and 21.
In Kitty Hawk, you won’t want to miss the Merry Chris’Mos Merry Maker Market at Hurricane Mo’s on December 11 and 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Plus, keep an eye out for special Grinchmas events, where you can snap a picture with the Grinch on December 14.
