After school, Donald devoted himself to the International Paper Mill, which later became Champion International Corporation. His grandchildren: Michael Travis Hux, Tyler Carlton Hux, Tanner Kendrick Hux, William Hollan Wilkins, and Donald C. “Trey” Hux III will forever hold on to the memories spent with their grandfather. On top of that, he was cherished by his great-grandchildren—Ashlyn, Lawrence, Adalyn, Gunner, Tanner, Jr., Donald IV, and Ella. Each of them carries a piece of his heart and spirit, ensuring that his memory lives on.

In a move that reflects Donald’s humble nature, he requested that no services be held in his honor. Instead, the family is focusing on celebrating the remarkable life he led.
