In a vibrant ceremony that could only take place in the stunning Outer Banks, the Community Chamber rolled out the red carpet for the eagerly anticipated 2024-2025 Leadership OBX class! This exciting program, designed to sharpen the skills of local business professionals, aims to connect them with the rich backdrop of our beloved region.
Launched in 2014, Leadership OBX has become a cornerstone of professional development. Its foremost goal is to help participants gain insights into the economic, demographic, and social fabric of the Outer Banks. As business professionals soak up valuable knowledge, they also build connections that will pave the way for future leadership roles within our community.
Sponsorship plays a critical role in making this program a success. The current year’s sponsors include renowned names like Outer Banks Health, North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, and several others such as East Albemarle District-AFLAC and the Outer Banks Community Foundation. It’s great to see such solidarity among our local organizations in fostering talent and encouraging community participation!
This year’s cohort is packed with passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds, ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into what makes the Outer Banks tick. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the participants:
What a fantastic lineup! Each participant brings unique skills and perspectives that will enrich the program and, in turn, our community.
