Fall Festivals Set to Bring Family Fun to Dare and Elizabeth City

Grab Your Costumes: Fall Festivals Are Coming to Dare and Elizabeth City!

If you’re in Dare or Elizabeth City, get ready for some fantastic family fun! The College of The Albemarle is gearing up to host their annual Fall Festival events! Mark your calendars for this delightful autumn celebration, with events happening on October 22 at COA – Dare and October 24 at COA – Elizabeth City, both running from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Exciting Activities Await

This year’s festivals promise to be a hit with plenty of activities that cater to all ages. Both events will feature a beloved trunk-or-treat activity, where kids can safely collect candy from creatively decorated car trunks. It’s a great chance for little ones to dress up as their favorite superheroes, princesses, or monsters, and join in on the spirited Halloween celebrations!

But that’s not all! Get ready to jump around in bounce houses – a surefire way to keep those little feet (and maybe even some big ones!) busy. If you’re in the mood for some friendly competition, there will also be games to keep everyone entertained. No matter your age, there’s something for everyone at these fun-filled fall festivals.

Where to Go

So where exactly are these festivals happening? For the Dare event on October 22, head over to 205 Highway 64 S., Manteo. Then, for the Elizabeth City event on October 24, make your way to 1208 N. Road Street, Elizabeth City. Both locations are ready to welcome the community and provide a festive atmosphere perfect for creating wonderful memories.

More Information

If you have any questions or just want to learn more about the festivals, you can reach out to Dawn Allen, the Student Life and Leadership Coordinator, at 252-335-0821 ext. 2240 or drop her an email at dawn_allen52@albemarle.edu. She’s more than happy to provide you with all the details you need to make the most of this exciting event.

Don’t Forget About Early Voting!

Other Local Events

In addition to the Fall Festival and early voting, residents of Duck should keep in mind that there’s a scheduled bulk waste collection on Friday. It’s a perfect time to declutter and dispose of those items you’ve been meaning to get rid of. Remember to check local regulations to ensure a hassle-free process.

Get Ready for a Fun October!

With the Fall Festival, early voting, and community clean-up events, October is shaping up to be a lively month in Dare and Elizabeth City. So gather your friends, family, and neighbors for some fall fun, and don’t forget to celebrate your civic duties at the polls!

Enjoy everything this season has to offer, and we hope to see you at the festival. Happy fall, y’all!
