Greenville, Pitt County — East Carolina University (ECU) is preparing for a significant event as it gears up for the fall graduation ceremony on December 13, 2024. This ceremony will take place at Williams Arena in Minges Coliseum and is scheduled to commence at 10 a.m..

Honoring Nearly 2,000 Graduates

Approximately 2,000 students will don their caps and gowns to celebrate their academic achievements. These graduates hail from an impressive 86 counties in North Carolina and represent 37 different states. This ceremony is a pivotal moment in their academic journeys, concluding years of hard work and dedication.

Keynote Speaker

Bob Greczyn, a distinguished alumnus from the class of 1973, will serve as the keynote speaker. His insights and experiences are anticipated to inspire graduates as they move forward into their professional lives.

Project Kitty Hawk Recognition

Among the notable highlights of this graduation, the first graduate from North Carolina’s Project Kitty Hawk will receive her degree. She will be awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
