New Joyful Prospects on Tail Waggin’ Tuesday as Adoptable Pets Await Loving Homes

North Carolina, Outer Banks (OBX)

Every Tuesday here in the Outer Banks region, a special event, Tail Waggin’ Tuesday, is eagerly anticipated by animal lovers. This event, an initiative to adopt pets from local animal shelters, was brought together by a vibrant coalition aiming to give fur-faced friends a befitting and loving home. The Outer Banks Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) steers this initiative.

Meet this Week’s Adorable Quadruplet: Squid, Camo, Faith, and Bella

Every week, there is a select group of pets that are showcased, and it’s no exception this week. This Tuesday’s leading lights are three adorable dogs: a charming triad named Squid, Camo, and Faith, and a loving Labrador, Bella.

Squid

At the tender age of 3, Squid was fortunately rescued from a high kill shelter where neglect had taken its toll on his health, particularly his skin condition. Now, under the attentive care of OBX SPCA, Squid has blossomed into a sociable and well-behaved pet. He is neutered, microchipped, has his vaccines up-to-date, and is seeking a home where his love for hugs would be reciprocated.

Camo & Faith

Camo and Faith lost their home due to their owner falling seriously ill. Unable to care for them and with no immediate family available, their owner trusted the SPCA to provide the care and love they deserved. Despite their challenging past, both Camo, aged 2, and Faith, aged 4, keep showcasing their resilience with a strong, heartwarming bond from their time back in the same shelter. A temporary foster home would be ideal for them.

Bella

Bella, an 8-year-old Labrador retriever, finds herself in the shelter not due to mischief or irresponsibility but simply due to a lack of time. Bella was relinquished by her previous family who could no longer provide the care and attention she needed due to their hectic work schedules. She seeks a home where her disciplined demeanor, house training, love to play fetch, and heart full of affection would be much appreciated.

How to Adopt these Loveable Animals?

Potential adopters can visit the Outer Banks SPCA from Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or give them a call at 252-475-5620. Let’s give these adorable pets the safe and loving home they deserve.
