The four adults have been identified as Shashwat Ajit Adhikari, 31, from Silver Spring, Maryland; Jason Ray Campbell, 43; Kate McAllister Neely, 39; both of Southern Pines; and Matthew Arthur Fassnacht, 44, from Marietta, Georgia. Unfortunately, the name of the young passenger, just six years old, has not yet been released, adding to the heartbreak of this incident.

According to authorities, the plane was in the midst of a multileg flight when it took off from Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo.
